DRAFT / UNLISTED || Ready to Use Templates — 6 Quick Ways to Get More Meetings & Pipeline — Now (Pt. 2)
Part 1 in full
As highlighted yesterday, here are the first 3 email templates for prospecting buckets 1 to 3 — quick recap of each of them first:
- Hiring: Who is hiring for the most relevant role to what your product solves for? Determine either titles or keywords in job descriptions to look for, then set up notifications when a new relevant job is posted. Look for public Slack workspaces related, as they often have job post specific channels.
TEMPLATE for #1 — Hiring:
SUBJECT LINE: open role for JOB POST TITLE in LOCATION HIRING
Scrolling through some of mutual connections NAME, & saw that COMPANY was hiring for RELEVANT ROLE —
Don’t want to assume, but given your role as TITLE, often times when we see companies like OURCUSTOMER1 or OURCUSTOMER2, they’re facing a challenge of PROBLEM YOU SOLVE FOR (should be a relevant as possible to the hiring role). Especially seeing that the JOB POST specifically called out LINE FROM THE JOB POST.
Am I in the right ballpark here? Does this connect with the priorities at COMPANY right now?
2. Former Employees of Current Customers: create a list of leads in Sales Navigator whose “past company” is one of your companies current customers. When reaching out, mention in the subject line the name of their previous company, and describe what you’ve been able to accomplish with them.
TEMPLATE for #2 — Former Employees of Current Customer:
[for the purpose’s of this example, your company’s best customer is ABC123, and this person left a year ago, now working at DEF456}
SUBJECT LINE: ABC123
Was looking to a connect with some folks over at our current client ABC123 on LinkedIn, and saw you’d previous worked there as well, NAME.
Don’t want to assume, but given your role as TITLE, I thought you might be involved with WHATYOURCOMPANY SOLVES FOR, as our main point of contact at ABC123 is TITLE. Looks like you were there until about a year ago; not sure if you got to work hands on with OURPRODUCT before your new job, but I’d encourage you to reach back out to your old alma mater & hear for yourself!
How do you currently handle WHATYOUSOLVEFOR at DEF456? Is there a chance to help as we have with ABC123?
3. Former Previous Opportunity, Now at New Company: if you spoke to Jane Smith at Company ABC last year, go check where she and other leads like her are working now. Reach out and mention the previous conversation.
TEMPLATE for #3 — Old Opp, New Company:
SUBJECT LINE: continuing from ABC123
Was reaching out to some of your former colleagues to reconnect over at ABC123, NAME, & saw you’d actually departed — congrats on the new role!
Don’t want to assume, but given your role as TITLE & your responsibilities at ABC123, I thought you might be involved with WHATYOURCOMPANY SOLVES FOR at DEF456. I know when we spoke last at ABC123, the decision was WHYTHEYDIDNTMOVEFORWARD, but with this new role, have a couple of questions for you -
How do you currently handle WHATYOUSOLVEFOR at DEF456? Is there a chance to help as we explored with ABC123?
